Rev. Allison Sikes
I grew up in West Monroe, Louisiana where I first came to believe in Christ through the efforts of the United Methodist Church where I was confirmed, the Roman Catholic elementary school I attended, and the Baptist youth group I was part of in High School.
I felt a call to ministry through my involvement in several campus ministries at LSU and attended seminary at SMU. While living in Baton Rouge I first met Christene, who grew up there, and is now my lovely wife.
I served as pastor to the Wesley United Campus Ministry at ULL for 4 years, and spent 5 years serving the 4-point charge in LaSalle Parish. I have been pastor here at St. Francisville UMC for 4 years. Christene and I have two children, Elizabeth and Julia, and one dog, named Dax. I enjoy reading, hiking, and travelling the world with my wife and family.
