Sundays at SFUMC

Fellowship Breakfast: 8:45 am

Everyone is invited for a light breakfast and coffee served in our Fellowship Hall.

This is a time to enjoy conversation and get to know one another more.

Sanctuary Worship: 9:30am

Our worship experience draws from the depths of the United Methodist spiritual tradition by incorporating prayer,

Scripture, music, a children’s moment and a message to help us connect with God’s love and with each other.

We gather every Sunday at 9:30am and there's a place for everyone in our sanctuary and community.

JAM Session! & Middle School Class

JAM Session for PreK4 - 5th grade students & our Middle School class for 6th- 8th graders are age-level experiences during Sunday morning worship. Students are invited to attend worship in the Sanctuary with their families and following the Children's moment, ministry leaders will guide them to the Fellowship Hall classrooms where they will engage the stories of scripture and get to know God together.

Nursery Care

We have nursery care available for infants through Pre-K3 children in our

Early Learning Center building. You’ll enter through the door with the ELC sign overhead.

Our nursery staff will greet you and help you sign your child in.

Adult Sunday School & Small Groups: 10:30am & other times throughout the week

Our Sunday School and Small Groups are designed to help you dive into the depths of scripture, nurture your faith, and build meaningful relationships. From engaging discussions to shared prayer and support,

these gatherings offer a space to explore God's Word and apply it to our lives.

Youth Group: 5:30pm

Our Youth Group is a dynamic community where young people gather to grow in their faith,

make lasting friendships, and have a great time while doing it. Youth Group meets every Sunday at 5:30 pm. We start with a light meal, engage in meaningful discussions, and have lots of fun.

 A United Methodist Congregation

The United Methodist Church is a worldwide denomination that opens hearts, opens minds and opens doors through active engagement with our world. The mission of the UMC is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

A United Methodist is someone who joins in that mission by putting faith and love into action. We believe that God loves all people, and that we share in expressing that love. So the United Methodist tradition emphasizes God's grace and in serving others. We believe that Jesus Christ is the fullest expression of God's love--showing us the fullness of God's care through Jesus' teachings, death, and resurrection.

John Wesley started the Methodist movement in 18th century England. His teachings on practical divinity (living out our faith) and appeals to reason and experience form important aspects of United Methodist practice today.
